WELCOME TO ALMĀ

Your body is always trying to tell you something.

Maybe you've already changed the way you eat. Taken the supplements. Started the hormones. Tried to sleep more. Tried to stress less.

And maybe you still don't feel quite like yourself.

At ALMĀ, we believe feeling well isn't about doing more.

It's about understanding what your body needs to work well.

Your hormones do not exist on their own. They are part of a beautifully connected system that includes your metabolism, digestion, nourishment, sleep, nervous system, relationships, environment, and the way you live each day.

THIS IS WHERE WE BEGIN

We take the time to understand you, strengthen the foundations of your health, and thoughtfully use modern medicine when it can support you.

Not in pursuit of perfection.

In pursuit of a life that feels good to live.

Welcome to ALMĀ.

HORMONES ARE ONLY PART OF THE STORY

Just because you take a hormone doesn't mean your body can fully use it.

This is one of the most important ideas behind the way we practice at ALMĀ.

A hormone is a message.

Whether that hormone is made by your body or provided through hormone therapy, having the hormone present is only one part of the process.

Your body still has to process that signal appropriately, and your tissues have to be able to respond to it.

01

Provide

Is the hormone there?

Your body produces hormones naturally. When production changes or additional support is appropriate, hormone therapy can provide another source of that signal.

02

Process

What happens to that hormone next?

Hormones participate in complex pathways throughout the body. Metabolism, liver function, digestion, nutrition, and other physiological systems can influence how hormone signals are activated, converted, transported, and cleared.

03

Respond

Can your tissues respond to the signal?

Hormones ultimately communicate with receptors and tissues. The health of the whole system matters when we think about how someone feels and responds to treatment.

THIS IS WHY WE DON'T BEGIN AND END WITH HORMONES

Hormone therapy can provide the signal. We care for the terrain around it.

We look at the foundations that support the way your body functions as a whole. Your metabolism. Your digestion. Your nourishment. Your sleep. Your nervous system. Your environment. Your relationships. Your daily life.

Because sometimes the answer isn't simply more hormone.

Sometimes the body needs better conditions.

THE FOUNDATIONS

We don't just ask what can we add?

We ask what your body needs in order to work well.

Your body is not a collection of separate parts.

Your hormones are in conversation with your metabolism. Your metabolism is influenced by how you eat, sleep, move, and experience stress. Your digestion affects what you absorb. Your nervous system responds to the life you're living.

It is all connected.

01

Metabolism

Blood sugar, insulin sensitivity, energy production, and the way your body uses and stores fuel.

02

Digestion

How you digest, absorb, metabolize, and eliminate what moves through your body.

03

Nourishment

The nutrients, proteins, fats, carbohydrates, minerals, and foods your body needs to function.

04

Sleep

Rest, circadian rhythm, recovery, and the biological repair that happens when your body is allowed to slow down.

05

Nervous System

The signals of safety, stress, connection, and recovery that shape how your body moves through each day.

06

Connection

Relationships, intimacy, community, pleasure, purpose, and the parts of health that cannot be measured on a lab.

THIS IS YOUR TERRAIN

Before we try to optimize your body, we support it.

Sometimes that means changing something. Sometimes it means adding support. And sometimes it means taking something away.

Because more isn't always better.

Less noise. Less pressure. Less overwhelm.

More room for your body to do what it already knows how to do.

The foundation isn't the thing we do before the real medicine.

The foundation is part of the medicine.

THE HORMONE HIERARCHY

We can't only look at the top of the triangle.

Estrogen. Progesterone. Testosterone.

These are often the hormones women hear the most about. But they exist within a much larger hormonal and physiological conversation.

TIER THREE

Estrogen

Progesterone

Testosterone

THE MIDDLE

The many systems that communicate between your foundation and your sex hormones.

THE FOUNDATION
01

Oxytocin

Love. Connection.
Intimacy. Purpose.

02

Insulin

Blood sugar.
Metabolism. Fuel.

03

Cortisol

Stress. Safety.
Recovery. Rhythm.

THIS CHANGES THE QUESTION

Instead of only asking “Which hormone is low?”

We ask what is happening underneath it.

CONNECTION

Oxytocin

Health happens in relationship too. Connection, touch, intimacy, belonging, pleasure, and a sense of purpose are part of the environment your nervous system experiences every day.

METABOLISM

Insulin

Your metabolic health influences far more than your weight. Blood sugar regulation, insulin sensitivity, nourishment, and energy availability are part of the physiological environment in which your hormones operate.

STRESS

Cortisol

Your body is constantly responding to the life you're living. Sleep, stress, circadian rhythm, recovery, and nervous system signaling all shape the hormonal environment.

We can prescribe estrogen. We can prescribe progesterone. We can support testosterone.

But we don't want to care only for the top of the triangle.

At ALMĀ, we start with the whole woman.

MEET YOUR FOUNDERS

Two founders. Two ways of knowing.

One shared belief that understanding your health should feel more human.

SERENA

COFOUNDER

Serena Rosa

Medicine meets ancient wisdom.

For more than fifteen years, Serena has cared for women and men through the deeply personal transitions that shape health across a lifetime, from hormonal and sexual health to postpartum care and longevity.

Her work lives at the intersection of modern medicine and ancient wisdom. She believes there is valuable information not only in labs and symptoms, but also in the intuition people carry about their own bodies.

Serena brings spirituality, intuition, sexuality, connection, and the wisdom of traditional healing practices into conversation with modern clinical care.

STEPHANIE

COFOUNDER

Stephanie Dadds

Complex physiology made practical.

Stephanie has a remarkable ability to take the complexity of human physiology and make it understandable, approachable, and useful in everyday life.

She sees the connections between hormones, metabolism, digestion, nourishment, and the many systems that influence how a woman feels.

Her gift is translating that science into practical care that can actually exist within a modern woman's life.

TOGETHER

Science and intuition. Modern medicine and ancient wisdom.

ALMĀ was created from the belief that these things were never meant to compete with one another.

Together, Serena and Stephanie are creating a more accessible way for women to understand their hormones, their bodies, and their mental and emotional wellbeing without making health another full time job.

WHY ALMĀ EXISTS

You shouldn't need to become an expert in your own healthcare just to feel well.

Our work is to understand the complexity.

And make it simple enough to live.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO KNOW WHAT YOU NEED YET

That's our job.

You don't need to know if it's your hormones.

Or your metabolism.

Or your thyroid. Your gut. Your sleep. Your stress.

You don't need to arrive with the right labs, the right supplements, or the right words to explain why you don't quite feel like yourself.

You just have to start where you are.

YOUR FIRST STEP

The ALMĀ Consultation

A thoughtful first step into your care.

Your first visit with ALMĀ is a comprehensive consultation designed to understand the whole picture.

We listen to your story. We look at your symptoms, your history, your hormones, your foundational health, and the life your body is living inside of.

From there, we help you understand what matters now, what may deserve a closer look, and where your care should begin.

FROM THERE

01

We listen.

Your story, your symptoms, your goals, and what you already know about your body.

02

We connect.

We look at the relationships between your hormones, metabolism, digestion, sleep, stress, and daily life.

03

We begin.

Together, we identify what matters most and create a clear place to start.

NOT EVERYTHING AT ONCE

Just where we begin.

Come as you are.
We'll meet you there.
