A radically different approach to postpartum care

through using a combination of medical science and mindfulness-based cognitive mentorship. What I believe is simple- when you are healthy, happy, and the best version of yourself- your baby abundantly benefits! Therefore, not only do I teach the foundations of lactation, labor and delivery, preparing for a baby, and postpartum healing, I also teach how to regulate your nervous systems, find rest and ease in your life, nourish your body with what it needs, and live in your joy! I believe that teaching these skills help my clients let go of fear and surpass their upper limits so that then they can fully prepare for labor, postpartum, parenthood, and live their most abundant life.


I am Dr. Serena Rosa

I am so glad you’re here.
I am an Obstetric and Gynecology Nurse Practitioner, Certified Lactation Counselor, Ayurvedic Postpartum Doula, and hold a Doctorate degree in Nursing, where I studied postpartum healing. For years I had been teaching my patients the medical strategies around birth and postpartum and then when it came my time to execute them, they failed me. When I couldn’t achieve my postpartum goals all I could do was learn how to change my mindset. In doing so, I learned so much about the power of mindfulness, alignment, and the spiritual healing practices that are missing in our medical model. After I felt the tangible change mindfulness had in my life, I designed a doctoral research project to study these methods in a clinical setting and to understand how to incorporate these strategies in the postpartum period.
